Main responsibilities

Configure and operate our time-series database infrastructure to store and process telemetry data.
Continuously develop and optimize our stream-processing pipelines.
Continuously develop and optimize our Python and Java-based applications that are close to the TSDB.
Automate build and deployment processes in hybrid environments (e.g., public cloud and self-hosted).
Work closely with development teams and architects to enhance performance and features.
Python development to adapt to telemetry database components, API design for scalable infrastructure and API development for interfaces from software development projects.
Manage, scale, and handle access management for telemetry databases.

Required skills

At least 3 years of experience working with InfluxDB.

Experience with containers in scalable environments such as Docker, Kubernetes, ArgoCD and AKS.
Experience with SCMS and CI/CD systems like Gitlab-CI.
Knowledge of cloud environments and services such as Azure.

Main responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain our IoT communication platform using technologies such as MQTT (HiveMQ), Kafka / Confluent Cloud, Azure and Kubernetes.
Configure and manage highly available and scalable messaging solutions, primarily with MQTT.
Administer and manage Kafka clusters for efficient data processing and transmission.
Implement and integrate Azure services for platform scaling, monitoring, and security.
Deploy and manage Kubernetes clusters for orchestration.
Ensure global edge communication by implementing appropriate protocols, security mechanisms and routing strategies.
Monitor and optimize platform performance, availability, and scalability.
Ensure platform security through access controls, encryption mechanisms and security monitoring.
Identify and resolve technical issues and disruptions.
Create and update documentation on platform architecture, configurations and processes.

Main responsibilities

Design, implement, and continuously improve CI/CD and Continuous Testing (CT) environments based on GitLab Ultimate.
Define and develop workflows and DevOps infrastructures for our product development.
Automate pipelines to accelerate development processes and provide deployment support.
Utilize Terraform and Ansible for infrastructure and configuration management automation.
Implement and monitor compliance with security requirements according to NIS2 and Kritis.
Plan, implement, and maintain the log and trace collection infrastructure using OpenSearch/Elasticsearch, Kafka, Kubernetes, Vector.dev and OpenTelemetry.
Configure and manage monitoring solutions using Icinga2, Prometheus, and Grafana for system and application monitoring.
Monitor and optimize log collection processes to ensure all relevant systems and applications are captured and performance is optimized.

Required skills

5+ years of relevant DevOps experience.
Experience with GitLab Ultimate (min. 2 years): Proven experience with CI/CD systems of GitLab Ultimate and their specific features.
Previous experience working with Azure.
Extensive experience with Docker and Kubernetes in scalable environments.
Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Linux scripting.
Strong understanding of log collection concepts, tools, and technologies.
